Ok I know you are all working up some ideas for Cannibal's pipe dream ( ) but all of this talk about cool itineraries has me thinking it would be kind of fun to throw some of this stuff into the Hot Springs Hang. Just a thought.

I like the idea of having some presentations, movies (indie of course), and possibly some friendly competitions (we will sign waver or something). I think it would be kind of cool to have a hammock setup relay race or something. I dont know.

Have to talk to Ed about that, but I like where your going with it. Hot Springs is his baby though. I could see a hammock setup relay being fun. Maybe we could get shug to make a couple videos for special release at the Hang Out.

I did not mean to use the hot springs hang in the same manner as the idea we are talking about in the other thread. I meant it more as a few ideas for things to do for social interaction. It will definitely be Ed's call.

Ed's a wild and crazy guy. I'm sure he would be very open to some hammock games. You could tie old hammocks across the railroad tracks and see which one has pieces fly the longest distance from the tracks. Not using any of my hammocks for that one.

I think the Indie movie would be cool. Would be great if we could talk Lion King into coming and maybe showing one of his vids. He isn't a hanger but still is a top notch guy. I'd like to hear Ed talk about the different types of down and the different techniques of making quilts with it, especially the baffling because that confuses the mess out of me. I still think a bit of backcountry kitchen lessons would be cool. I can boil water but much more than lipton sides I destroy.
