    Thumbs up Xlc...do it!

Finally got a chance to string my XLC up in my backyard between proper trees and give it a try. I had strung it up in the basement, but it's just not the same. Anyway, I am so impressed with this new hammock! This is my fourth hammock from Warbonnet, and I have found my "keeper". I always liked my regular Blackbirds, and my RidgeRunner was straight up awesome...but this one takes the cake hands down. It's everything I wanted out of the original Blackbirds I had. Me being 6'-5" tall, the extra length really makes a difference in the lay. The more open feeling with the way he uses netting on the new XLC really opens it up for better views, moreso than i expected. I can not wait to get back on the trail and in the piney woods with this new hammock!!

    Thanks again Brandon!

I can take a few pics if people really want them, but I didn't this time because I figured enough have been posted. I was enjoying laying in it too much to bother with the camera

This thing really is a winner though, what a great hammock. My fiancee' came out and saw me in it and promptly said "looks like you really like this one". I told her I definitely found everything I was looking for in a backpacking hammock. Just a perfect blend of all options

Better scratch it then! You won't be dissapointed if you like the Blackbird

After spending some more time in it again this afternoon, I'm even happier with it! It's so much more comfortable than the regular Blackbird I had, and I'm really loving the more open feeling from the interior...views!

    Yukon,

Great pics. I'm glad you like your new baby!

Do you have any knee hyper-extension? Or does the length + footbox "drop" dot away with it?

    Thanks much.
