A thread about thread

I made a couple of these for a couple of friends who are doing a long hike.

I have a 7 left over that I'd like to sell.

Basically they are made of a brand new chapstick/lipstuff container.
I have wound several pieces of different kinds of thread onto a hard plastic
piece that is notched.

I have included waxed thread (from an awl).
A 3 braided fishing line, enough to catch fish if you really needed to.
or for major gear repair.
Black thread.
White thread.
And an already threaded needle (if you can't find your glasses) with the last color.
I've included another needle for popping those blisters at sunset

I think they're great for in the console of a car, in a boat, around a moat,
in a truck, when you're stuck....(getting a little Dr. Seusey here).

I used mine for my thru hike.
I had more hikers ask to borrow mine many times!

$5 plus a buck for shipping.

( I have a couple of pink ones for the ladies,
a couple of white ones, Lucas Oil, Chopper Chap and some neon-not-to-get-lost green ones).

I used to carry a sappy cloth one in my car that all the threads just unraveled all over my insurance cards, etc.
so keeping this handy in the corner helps.

I can't tell you how many hikers asked to borrow a needle at some point.
Nearly every shelter.

it's just neat, small and compact.

(and I do know by now which brands work better as far as taking the little narwhal thing out of the center )

I was going to put together something like this, but I like what you have done, so I'll take one. Put me down for a Lucas Oil version.

I have an REI one left, Pink Ladies Poker Tour (in black), one all red , one dark green, 2 bright green and I have 3 now that are from Ibupuprofen bottles. (little bit larger but with twist off caps).
