Hey guys,
I saw this article yesterday, and couldn't help but think of all of us gear junkies here on HF. My first thoughts were "I wonder what the Oz./Sq.Yd weight is..." and "Who will be the first to make a tarp of this?" Lol.
Obviously this tech is far from that point, but it makes my wonder what the future holds for weather protection for us. Invisible force-field bubbles? Does that kinda ruin the whole "out in nature" aspect of camping? I know the "dreaming of the future" discussion has been had here a few times, so I don't mean to start that again. I just thought I'd share this for anyone interested.
