I enjoyed meeting AppalachianHammock at the Smoked Butt Hang this weekend. I saw their 10x12 catcut tarp there too. It is a high-quality beauty!
Also, AppalachianHammock, Thank you for donating a hammock to the prize drawing (yup - I won it and can't wait to set it up and get some pics).

Indeed, having seen one of the originals (they've since gone to a channel end similar to an ENO) I can say I'm impressed - especially considering that Ryan (the owner) is only 16 years old! The work on the hammock itself was impressive, and the tarp is something I would absolutely consider buying if you're in the market for one and you're already at their site buying a hammock.
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.
Enjoyed meeting Ryan from Appalachian Hammock at the Smoked Butt Hang. Some fine products from a NC based cottage business run by two enterprising young men.

Finally set up my new AH Original hammock - it's sweet!! Thanks Ryan!

Thanks a lot Loki! Wish I could've made it out there. Ryan said he had a great time meeting everyone and hanging out. I posted a link to your blog post on our website as a review. Hope you don't mind
