    A recommendation:

    Those bringing dogs should get packs for them so that they can haul water, too. Both thier own and some for you. If worse comes to worse, your dog will be able to drink water from puddles and ponds where you might not.

    Under normal circumstances, Scout The Wonder Dog packs his own water and food, but there has been one occasion where I had to tap into his supply when an expected water source didn't show up.

    He's not going to be there... I'm volunteering the other dogs to eat. We won't have to carry near as much food in.

    Also fires? Are they allowed assuming burn ban is not in place... I assume one will be given our current drought issues but wishful thinking...

    There was a fire ring at the Hidden Lake area and pits at the Hunters camp...

    Reggie is doing fine. He's bouncing around like the goof ball he is.

    There are those big concrete slabs at the hunters camp. We just had our fire there last time.
