Praline bars will do just fine.

Dang, I forgot to print out the Trail Registration Forms. They're not required, but it would be nice if the Forest Service got credit for so many folks on the trail.

Sarge tell me where to go and I will print some out. Is it one per hiker or one for the group.

Iím mostly packed, anticipating an arrival early Saturday afternoon. I decided on my less-used summer hammock system, the Claytor Mosquito, after reading the thread on the durability of cuben tarps in summer heat.

Thanks for the great directions, Sarge. I expect Iíll hear either whooping or snoring as I get close, but Iím bringing a compass just in case. Looking forward to meeting other hangers.

Does anybody need a hammock, tarp, or pack? I haven't packed my extra yet and want to make sure that if someone was counting on them that I bring them.

I could also bring a WBBB and a tarp. I'm bringing the tarp already (an extra). I think the WBBB has the original buckle suspension. So someone would need like two HD carribeaners. but I'm not hiking them to the lake!

We're all good, I have an extra hammock, tree straps, and amsteel in the raw. Also a huge guide gear tarp I will somehow get to the lake, so we can rig it for a "group sitting" shelter, if needed. (Daniel gets to carry it)

    Good to have you.

If you find yourself in a big field and you haven't crossed the stream at the broken bridge, you've taken the wrong turn, but you're close enough to be within ear shot.

Just yell "COOKIE COOOOOOOOON" at the top of your lungs and we'll come get you.

I'm packed, but not in the truck yet. My employer lets us off Friday at noon. I plan to zip home, eat, toss everything in the truck, ice down the Gatorade and head out of DFW. Hope to leave before 2. Should be down by 5.
