Maybe not the flashiest item to order from Wilderness Logic, but I ordered his hammock pillow today for an upcoming trip.

WL makes the most comfortable pillows around! Good choice.
It was between the WL pillow and another one, but I chose the WL because it has a fleece lining which I prefer over nylon on my face. And it shipped today. Fast turnaround.

This is my first post and after a lot of research I've decided to go with a Night Owl as my first hammock. Should I wait to order the pillow or just go ahead and get it with the hammock? And should I get down or synthetic? I'm a full time side sleeper if it matters.
I ordered the synthetic pillow, a review on the WL website said the down pillows really compress when you lay your head on them. I tend to sleep on my side and wanted more support for my head. I also ordered the fleece as an add-on. I should have it by the end of the week if you want pics.

Flatline, I've looked at all of your pics on here and noticed you're quite the Wilderness Logics customer. Some of them are used on the WL website.
All of the research I've been doing will lead me to be a loyal WL customer for life based on customer service, quality of workmanship, fast shipping, etc... I've already put together my ultimate set up and its 100% WL. Eventually ill have a Night owl with the SS under and over quilts, Bullfrog tarp with panel pulls and pole mods.
I like the idea of supporting a small cottage business and figured if I'm going to jump into the world of hammocks I would rather buy the right gear the first time. I don't want to, like i've noticed here and on the Reddit hammock forum, get a ENO starter hammock and then upgrade a year later and then upgrade again a year after that. Also my girlfriend lived in Gates County, NC for 16 years!
