    First Hammock Outing

Hello all, my Dad and I went out on our first hammock backpacking trip last night. It was a pretty short trip, only a couple of miles, but it was a great trip. I would write a new trip report here, but i've already written a long one on my blog. For your reading enjoyment: http://jeepcamping.blogspot.com/

Looks like y'all had a great time. Good to find out about the ants before you got set up.
Everyone ought to believe in something....I believe I'll go set up the hammock!

Nice trip report. I wish I had the chance to go hiking with my Dad before he passed away. He wasn't much of an outdoorsman, but luckily my Mom was.

Really nice write up. I am envious of the time you share with your dad, mine passed when I was 21. Thanks for sharing the good memories from your hike.
