Seems to bet quite a few of us from Florida recently. Just joined the hangers after tent camping for thirty years. The straw that broke my back..literally..was a few weeks ago camping with the scouts. Last years campout during halloween was wet and rainy, and the new tent I had purchased was definitely not up to the task. So much so that I immediately pitched it as soon as I got home. Saved just the rainfly. Recently purchased two hammocks and am waiting on the polypro straps. My son is excited and can't wait to get them set up....neither can I really. So I'll just soak up the knowledge, ask silly questions, view Shug's videos (gotta love the Shug) a hundred times and hope I can get a third of the knowledge he has. He really makes it entertaining and fun....which is what hanging is all about anyway...right?
