Where are you getting the $7 bug net? I just picked up 2 ENO RestNests dirt cheap for my Cub Scouting boys, and I need to find an inexpensive bug option.

Also, what kind of material are you using for the hammock itself? My daughter is a bit jealous that the boys now have their own hammocks and dad didn't buy her one.

The bug net I bought at a military surplus store (back in Dec.) and modified it. The Army issuses a tent called Skeeta Tent. I checked online and Prices went up to 9.99 for the bug season.

Fabric for both the tarp and hammock was from Walmart. The web price says $2.41 but in stores it's $1.97 I travel for work and have stopped in wally worlds all over the Northeast and if they have it, it's $1.97
