Smile guy out points on an ENO

Has anyone ever added guy out points like bottom of a hennessy asym has?

As you know the double nest tends to wrap around you face and feet a bit, I own a few hennessy's and thought it would be a great thing to add to my ENO.

I don't own an ENO, but it never hurts to try. What you might wan to do before sewing it is use a penny to make a place you can temporarily tie something to so if you don't like t that way you can change it back. Just my two cents.

I like the idea, but I'd be concerned about using a penny, or anything disk-shaped; I'd be concerned about the stress on the fabric. How about a river pebble, a marble or, one of those little super-bouncy balls? Or even a monkey fist, which could be made from some of that paracord you carry.

Actually, if you stuck to the monkey fist method, you wouldn't have to sew anything at all; you could adjust it for different scenarios, and you wouldn't have to bring anything extra, just use what you'd normally bring.

I don't know what a monkey fist is, but I get the idea -- very cool trick!

That's a great idea to use a penny! Never thought of that.

I don't think the knotty mod would help with it wrapping around you, rather I think it would make it worst..
I have tie outs on a DIY hammock I have and LOVE them. Makes it feel like there's so much more room.

I did the knotty mod on my eno dn and it helps out, takes all that slack out of the sides. If you try out the side guy outs let us know how that goes

Sweet. I stand corrected! One thing I love about this forum- if you haven't tried it, someone most likely has and will chime in.

I have used "Grip Clips". I have also cut off the colored edges and did Knotty mod.

Me too. The grip clips with shock cord work well enough but I just found there was too much material due in part to my height. Cutting off the coloured edges made my ENO the perfect width for me so no tie outs were needed.
