    yeah, at least it's only a 20min drive into the foothills. still usually gotta hike a ways to get to the trees. not quite as convenient as the southeast where you can just find a convenient pullout on the side off the road and walk right into dense woods. if you drive farther up into the mountains it's like that, but not down here where the plains end and the mountains begin.

    inna few years (20 or so) they would be just big enough

    hopefully home values will go back up and we can eventually upgrade to a better spot. i hear bamboo can get pretty big pretty quick, maybe i should plant some of that instead.
