I'm out for that weekend guys. May 4th is the Walk N Rollathon in Cincy to benefit The Families of SMA. We put together a big team every year in memory of our daughter. Catch you all soon I hope! Have fun!

Edge, I was looking to go out that weekend possibly to Zaleski. Not 100% sure yet but it's looking good.

Well Mike, I'm probably getting out 3 of the 4 weekend in May, hit me up what weekend works and we can get a group together and maybe do Vesuvius?

As far as the first weekend, I'm shooting for Friday but I should be there pretty early. Figure we'll use both sites 1 and 2 like last time (even though we all ended up at 2)

    Sounds great.

    I'll be there mid-afternoonish Friday.

I'm going to try to make it as well. Just let me know the site you end up at, and I'll night hike it in.

Luke and I hit site 1 last night with the family. We spent about 2 hours harvesting crawfish, got about a dozen, and had a nice little snack. My daughter has officially tracked, caught, got pinched by, and cooked her first "hunted" meal.

Site 1, within a 15 yard radius of the fire ring, has room for at least 6 hammocks. Site 3 has room for about 3, but it also has a nice stone table or two, and the creek crossing is much easier. I haven't been to site 2 yet, but it sure looked nice across the creek.

I got there just as the ferocious mini bear (schipperke Jack) attacked the campsite. He was fended off by Mike's daughter Shelby.

Hey Guys, I'm up for a Saturday night outing. Still looking at one of the sites on that side of S.R. 97? (1 or 2)

    I'm Back

    Hey guys.

After a long stretch of no weekends off I have a new job and will finally be able to make it out again. I won't be able to make it til Saturday though. Is anyone staying Saturday night?
