Which whoopie slings for an ENO

I am going to add Whoopies too my ENO DN. Can anyone link me to which ones I need specifically, or let me know what would be the better options for my type of hammock. I just get confused with lengths and such. I'm in NW Ohio so I'm dealing with average sized trees.

    Thanks!!

Any of the standard 6 foot whoopie slings sold by the vendors here will be fine. For tree straps, 6 feet should work fine as well. You can connect the two via many different ways. You can use a toggle, a Dutch buckle, or a Bloomgorge Elephant Trunk to attach the slings to the webbing.

The common ENO modification is to remove the stock rope and simply feed the fixed eye loop of the Whoopie Sling through the end channel of the hammock and then feed the other end of the sling through the fixed eye loop creating a larkshead. Then just put the webbing around the tree in the same way and connect the sling and webbing using one of the ways I mentioned above.

+1 on any of the vendors. Or, buy 25 feet of amsteel and try making yourself a set...

I personally prefer the inverted whoopie slings with Dutch Whoopie Hook setup, as outlined here:

You can purchase whoopie hooks, whoopie slings and/or amsteel at DutchWareGear.com.

Here is a video from whoopieslings.com that will show you how they do the whoopies on an eno hammock.

I changed my suspension to whoopies and as stated by Bubba, 6 ft whoopies and 6 ft tree straps. I would recommend for you to watch Shugs how to videos if you are new to hammocking, very informative. I believe there are 10 or 11 videos in the series on youtube

Thanks for the response guys! I have seen the Shug videos, that's what made want to switch to whoopies Just wasn;t quite sure which ones I needed specifically. Think I'll go with the toggle/marlin spike hitch set up and see how that works out for my next hang. Thanks again for the info. -Woody
