    TN/Fiery Gizzard/4/20-4/21

A small group of us have made a last minute decision to hike the Fiery Gizzard this weekend. I know it is late notice but if anyone wants to hang with us Saturday night we will be at Ravens Point. We will be starting mid morning Saturday from the north end of the trail near Tracy City and doing the loop to Ravens Point and back on Sunday. Hike is 4+ miles each day so lots of camp time and good scenery. There are 3 ways to get to Ravens Point including easy (Dog Hole Trail), harder (Fiery Gizzard Trail North End), and more miles (Fiery Gizzard South End).

The only plan is to meet at Ravens Point so pick your hike in and we will be there Weather forecast is sunny 61*/39*

This is pretty tempting. I was planning on hitting the back country campsite at long hunter this weekend, but fiery gizzard would be nice too. Only thing is, if I remember correctly Ravens Point is a no camp fire site

I didn't know that had changed. The gov website still lists fires as prohibited. Thanks for the Intel.

This is tempting, but I have never been there so don't know the trails, or where to go.

If you decide to come it is fairly easy to find the trail head on the north end. There are good maps at the trail head and you will end up at Ravens Point any way you go. i plan on starting around 10 cst.
