Man, my new boss scheduled a team outing at his cabin on Friday, 6/14. I can't get out of it and it's too far to drive for just one night.

I have made the 1100 drive from NC to KC the past 3 years, but this year a change of plans. If I was going to KC. I would definitely attend and let my wife hang out at the casinos (with her mother).

Shoot the weekend before I'll be in Iowa hanging and flying airplanes. I know better then to try and make two weekends in a month. I'm doing pretty good getting to go in a couple weeks after spending all weekend last weekend gone. I kinda used "it's my birthday" as an excuse.

And she counts, so claiming it's my birthday again is out.

Fine, and will I be moving into his digs, cuzz mine will be off limits.

Sigh, so little summer, so many things to do. I actually have a motorcycle ride, two other flying events and this hang that I could be doing along with the normal babysitting.

If the weathers good, I'll hang my Grand-daughters hammock and mine in the back yard and will camp out. Used the tent last year, never again. My back still hurts.

I am out. This is Father's Day weekend, so gonna spend it with the family.

I did not realize that this was Father's Day. If we need to/should reschedule, I totally get it (Dad of four adult kids and one grandson here...I get it!).

In truth, I'm gonna have to talk with momma now too...I personally may be required to reschedule. Thanks for pointing this out, Kerflop. Sorry I didn't look at the calendar.

Did not occur this one was being scheduled on Fathers Day either. Would not be a problem for me (Trailboss would be all happy about spending it with dad on a hang!) but understand completely if a reschedule is needed. That said scheduling it later would work better than sooner. I am free until late July before any conlicts.
