    Hair tie guy line storage

I take a hair tie and larks head it onto the tie out point. I hank up the line then do some sort of larks head around that folding the line in half. It is fast to gather it all up it holds in place and comes undone nicely. I also keep a little tab of grosgrain at the top to hold the line if most the length is being used and no hanking is required.

    Hair tie guy line storage

That's a great idea. My wife and daughter won't think so once they find they're out of elastics.

Nice! I do that too. Cheap and easy. I am a longhair so I do not have to borrow them from my wife. They get stretched out after a while, but for less than a nickel, who cares?

I haven't used the hair ties in that fashion but I use them in place of tarp skins for packing my tarps. I slide 4 of them onto the ridgeline - slide them to the ends when the tarp is deployed and slide them back over the rolled up tarp when packing up. Some of the hair ties I have lifted from my wifes' stash are fairly strong and some are lighter weight. I think the lighter ones would work very well as guyline bundlers.

I've had mine on for eight outings with no signs of stretch plus I'm a longhair and have an endless supply.

Wow talk about good timing I was just about to order some fabric for tarp skins. I'm going to hold off and give that a shot. Thanks for the tip!
