    Best Ridgeline Organizer? (Or Opinions)

Just wondering what some of you think is the best ridgeline organizer or type of organizer. I've been looking at the ones Arrowhead and 2QZQ sell and I know you can get them with velcro or hem sewn. This isn't too complicated a subject, I'm sure, but just your casual thoughts on what you like about yours and benefits of them would be good to hear.

Also, sorry if this is obvious, but do you generally leave the velcro ones attached to the hammock when you pack them back up?

I have only used the ones I have made... I have made them from mesh or from ripstop nylon... Doesn't seem to make a difference to me... I usually sew them so that the lip will hang open... I got that by cutting a taper into it... That way your not pulling the pocket open to see what's in there, and you can just drop stuff in with one hand...
I got crazy a while back and did all this 4 grey organizers 1 pink organizer and a pink stuff sack for my daughter's hammock... You can kinda see how the lip wants to stay open in those pics...
Live, Laugh, Love, if that doesn't work. Load, Aim and Fire, repeat as necessary...

If you wind up getting into any DIY construction of hammocks you will wind up with scrap and off-cuts. This material is great for organizers and stuff sacks. Left over netting is great for organizers because it lets you see whats inside. How it attaches and how many pockets is really up to the user.
My scrap netting organizers use an open hem at the top that the ridge line passes through. I have not wanted or needed to remove them. They just stay on the ridge line and pack away with the hammock.

I prefer a large mesh style. I can see what is in it and it will hold a good deal. Made my own but some sell this style. Mine has velcro and I leave it on. Just move it to anther hammy when needed.

Mine is a simple hemmed mesh. I thread the ridge line through it coming out short on each end creating a sag for easy access like brute said. This is nothing fancy just a simple hem with one line of stitch and I've had two full nalgenes in it with no problem.

I like the kind that you thread onto your ridgeline. So far, the ones from Dream Hammocks have been my favorite. Made from mesh (or cuben fiber in the case of the Darien UL), 3 pockets on each side and a full space between the two sides for larger items.

Best is the one you make for yourself. Think about the stuff you want to stick in it and build one that big.

I use a gear loft, basically a mini hammy about 3 feet long, I don't use a scructrual ridge line, so this is hung up the same way , there is room a coat or larger stuff and I just have a small stuff sack for my pocket stuff.

The best things happen at the worse possible time.

It(I) might not be the prettiest thing, however It(I'm) is quite functional.
