    Hammock Gear's Thru-Hike

Stormcrow got some Hammock Forums trail magic!! He was thrilled to discover Detail Man waiting on the trail for him, 7 miles before his Gatlinburg stop. After a tough day, his morale just went through the roof. Many thanks for taking the time to make his day.

We have had numerous offers from HF hangers who live along the trail to help him. Really shows the kindness of friends, no matter where we are.....

I wanted to express not only gratitude on here, but the offer to any HF thru-hikers, if you ever need a drop box of emergency gear, hammock, quilts, etc, don't hesitate to contact me (loaners, of course, lol - Thanks, Dutch). We're all in this together.......

    Hammock Gear's Thru-Hike

I know there is still a while to go but if there is anything I can do up here in Mass I would love to help out. I know there are at least 3 of us here that can make the connection if need be. Let us know.

This is what makes me feel so humble and grateful to be a small part of this community. Going on a 3 day solo in the morning and I know that all will be well now. Thanks

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.
