What a great site here, so much valuable and usable info. What new things have you done since coming to this forum?

Yesterday I rode a tablecloth from Greensboro to Richmond! In the back of an Astro cargo van. With only one eyebolt added to the van.

What have I done new since joining?

Got a completely new setup. New hammock, new suspension, bought a tarp, and made an UQ. All because of this forum.

And I'm not mad about it at all.

Where to begin? Bought a couple of Hennessy's, BB's, multiple tarps, have gotten huge into hiking thanks to all those fun TR's folks post here; hiked 180 out of 885kms of the Bruce Trail so far, spent countless hrs watching Shug on YouTube, hung in Hawaii, planning on thru hiking the AT with my hammock, got the wife and kids into hanging. I could probably go on, but I've made some really positive changes in my life that all started with HF.

Gone fulltime. Met some of the best people ever. May have, just may have spent too much time on the forum.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

Most share the same theme, lot's of time here on the board and experimenting with newly purchased gear. Me too! Love the reports that improved lifestyle, the trip reports do inspire me to get out as well. I know that I've learned a great deal about camping and equipment, great stuff!
