I'm making another hammock (#2) and I want to be able to run the suspension through the end channel. I have finished one side and I'm curious if y'all think it will be strong enough.
First I made a large 6" rolled hem then folded it over again to give me a 3" channel with double the fabric. I thought this would give it some extra strength.

My lines arnt very straight, but some spots almost look good so I'm happy.
But if it doesn't work I have enough fabric to chop it off and do the whipping. Y'all think this will hold?
On a side note the rip stop from DIY gear supply feels so much softer than joanns.
