Hello all! I'm new to the backpacking and hanging worlds. I was reintroduced to the hammock from a friend who let me borrow a mosquito hammock, and fell in love with the comfort of the hang. I have been lurking around the forum for a while now and have been bitten by the DIY bug. Currently working on a DL from some ripstop I found at a local shop. Kind of loosely mimicking the BIAS DL my friend recently got. It will be my first hammock. Can't wait to get it done and between two trees. Spring is hitting here in my part of Missouri and ready to get my wife and 3 year old son out.
