This is so true!! I got my wife one the same time I did and she was absolutely convinced after not having to sleep on the hard ground. She really helped with the sewing, and is even teaching me to sew. Having investment and buy in from the spouse makes hanging a lot more fun. My wife and I paddle and hang together frequently throughout the year.

Ed Speer is still offering down to HF members at a discount. Not too late to get in on this one. Discount goes until the end of Feb.

    Ed Speer post:
"In addition, HF members can get 20% off purchases of our 3.1 oz bags of 900 fill down until the end of February. Orders must be placed via email--we'll respond with a PayPal request for payment."

Welcome, Optimator. No flaming here on HF. Probably because everyone gets a good nights sleep and isn't grumpy from having to deal with sleeping on rock, sticks, mud puddles, rivers, etc. ...you get the idea?

I offered over on WB to meet up with you and show off my many hammocks, which include a Blackbird, a couple of TrekLight doubles, a jungle hammock and a HH Scout bottom loader. I'm in the Ft. Lewis area of WA, and new to the area. So, if you can come up with a place to meet that isn't terribly far from me, I'm up for it on a weekend for the day at least.
