If you are a member of the Co-Op they may swap it even without the reciept. Since it is theier brand and the customer service is pretty top notch. I have done this once on a different item.

Thanks guys. Just got off the phone with the nearest REI. No flash 65's in stock. Only Flash 62's.
Try calling their online/corporate store. As mentioned, they may swap you one via mail. It would cost you the same or less as trading with someone here via mail.
