    Under quilts.

I am just getting into hammocks and was curious about how to use a under quilt with a bottom entry Hennessy?

sometimes you can push it to the side to get in, or buy one of the "Jacks R Better" UQs that is made for the bottom entry hammocks.

How about getting a zipper mod for it? As mentioned you could move it to the side to get in and out

I just bought a UQ for my HHED, which has both the original bottom entry and the 2QZQ Mod#4.

You can simply push the UQ off to one side as you get in, and it usually will slip right back into place.

Adjusting the UQ once you're in can be a little problematic, but usually only a little. It's much easier to adjust if you have a zipper that allows you to reach outside the hammock to do so, but again, it can be done.

I have two under quilts for my bottom entry HH. Just push the UQ to one side, sit down, pull feet in. If the UQ doesn't snap into place, reach through the velcro and move it over. It's not hard to do. I've even grabbed the suspension cords through the side of the hammock itself and pulled it up where I wanted it. I don't see any need to modify your hammock or get a special UQ, unless you just want to.
