    Fort Worth, TX

Buen dia! I've been hanging for a while, and even skimming the forums from time to time, but just joined.

I started with an ENO Doublenest and SlapStraps a few years back, because it looked like a better idea than the coffin-like tent I used to carry in my backpack. Then I bought a Singlenest, Whoopieslings, and a MacCat tarp, and gave my Doublenest to my wife. At first, my friends scoffed at the idea of camping in a hammock, but now our backpacking trips are all-hammock. We love to argue about the best way to hang a hammock, so this seems like my kind of community.

Hey... Welcome. I'm near the DFW area. We have a trip coming up this weekend at Texoma. You should try and make it if you are into the hiking/camping thing. Here's a link to the thread:

Thanks for the invitation! I can't make it this week, but I love Texoma around this time of year. I'll definitely be in on future trips.
