    HH Expedition Tarp Conversion

I just ordered a tarp to replace the stock HH tarp that came with my Expedition. It just feels wrong to not find a use for it.

I'm thinking that it would make for a good undercover. I mounted it upside down underneath the hammock, but it looks to me like it would require a lot of sewing skill to get it even close to right. Skills that I don't really have.

    Any ideas would be welcome.

hehehe... I just chopped mine into three pieces and made a HH Hex winter tarp.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

    Are you being serious?

    How?

    You got a picture?

    I just don't see how that's possible.

Now add a Thermadrape quilt between the converted HH fly undercover and the hammock... a good ultralite rig, for sure!

I was reading that thread last night. It sounds to me like that has some potential.

I just posted a thread on it. Pics will come tomorrow when it is set up outside.

Oh I see what you mean...

At first I thought that you were saying that you could take a stock tarp and make it a hex tarp.

    That's not what you meant.

    Me. Slow.
