Need help deciding on a hammock!

Well, I recently sold my Dangerbird 72 because it was just too much material for me and I didn't need the extra weight of the double layer. I am looking at the Darien UL and the WBBB because of the incredible weight of the Darien yet I want to try the WBBB features such as the footbox and shelf. Any other lightweight hammocks out there? Must have a bug net and be able to house a 6'4" frame. I am going to take this on the AT next spring so I want to be prepared with a hammock I won't regret. Thanks

I would throw up the WWM and nano buginator net... Not an integrated system which means at some point you can send home the net when you don't need it... Total weight with stuff sack and amsteel UCRs is 15.75 oz... Obviously you could use dynaglide and save some weight but I just haven't gotten there yet...

Ps... Whoever is their 1,000 purchase gets their order free... They wouldn't give out any numbers. But they were at 972 at the beginning of the week...

Unfortunately I am starting early spring/late winter so I will need the bug net more as time goes on. I like having the net integrated, the more puzzle pieces put together the better Thanks for the ideas though!

Go Darien UL. If weight is your concern you'll be hard pressed to come up with anything you can readily buy with an integrated bug net that will come close to the weight of this hammock. Very good on the comfort scale too.

Like Sidewinder said - Also if you add up the cost of all the doodads from Dutch that Papa has built into the Darien UL and then try to set up anything close to the weight and quality of the Darien UL you realize it's actually quite a bargain!
