    Slip Sliding Away...

I've been eying a 5 in 1 Jerry Chair for some time, one thing that causes concern is that there are not channels on the sides to allow easy adjustments. For those of you who have UQ's sans channels does this present problems? It would seem that adjusting one sans channels would involve getting in and out of the hammock and tying and retying knots of the suspension until the desired length is determined on each side. It would seem that once these lengths were determined that they would not change for a given hammock and that adjustment would only be required if & when one changed hammocks.

    Is that accurate?

    More or less.

But, if you're really worried about it, have you seen Scum's underquilt adjustment system? I've used it with a sewn-up PLUQ with good results.

    Hope it helps!

That looks like a good solution, I'm liking the sliding channel more though.
