Finally got to lay in my Blackbird!

It was just a test, but how comfortable I was, wasn't expected 100%. This is my first hammock, and i wanted to get one for weight savings and get my back off the roots/rocks. But wow! I love it, couldn't get my superfly strung up because it was too windy and there was too much stuff to snag on/not enough patience on my part. The hammock was kinda like a windsock, but once I got the stakes in it was stable enough for me to get in. A couple adjustments later and I was relaxing, enjoying the sun beating down on me.

If I didn't feel like I had to get back inside so fast (had my son visiting with his aunt), invade he was cranky. I would have allowed myself to doze off for sure.

I just ordered a 1.7 SL BB. Not the XLC because I'm 5'8" and 175 so I didn't think I'd need it. It will be only for the hottest summer months, so I won't need a pad or UQ. I have 2 RRs for that.

    2 questions...

    1. Is it the XLC?
    2. How does the footbox affect the lay? Do your legs twist at all when your on your back and your legs are straight.

Not the XLC. I'm 5'9" 220lb, foot box seems like it does a great job relieving pressure. I lay quite flat, very comfy. I was even pretty good on my side. I haven't had a lot of time to fidget and fine tune. First hammock but I'm glad I got the WBBB. For sure.
