Welcome from Marshall MI! Tho' I once was a member of the Nottingham Climbing Centre but that was just so I could go climbing for the day with some friends I was visiting. Beautiful area around Nottingham.

thanks mate..have been to the climbing centre couple times myself to pick my son up from there, never climbed there myself tho but would love to start(need to lose a few lbs tho 1st) yes Notts is beautiful in its own way but much prefer Derbyshire(I'm on the border of both)

Nat, if it's any consolation, I just spent 4 days back in the hills. OUr forecast was for a 30% chance of showers each day.
Thursday and friday the skies were impressive to watch but it stayed dry.
Saturday there were light showers about 30% of the time until around 4 PM -- between 4 PM Saturday and 9 AM Sunday we got about 5" (13cm) of "heavy dew".

While I was gone, it did in fact snow back home on Thursday.
