Will be section hiking the GA AT starting the 4th May for about 5 days. Wife was suppose to go with me but can not go now due to family emergency.
Goal...hike north has far as I can go, as fast (or slow as the case may be), enjoy hanging in my hammock at night and just have a good time hiking. May stop and take a nap during the day if the urge strikes me.
Will be starting at Springer and heading north. Just checking to see if any other hangers will be out there same time.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

It sounds like a blast. I wish I could join you, but I don't finish with school until the 10th and then I'm heading to the MST from Mt Mitchel to the Gorge. My kitchen pass will be all used up until late summer.
