Need some help deciding.

Ok ladies and gentelmen I have a question for eveyone. So the only hammock i have hung in is my table cloth hammock. Now I was at gander moutain this weekend and they have enos single and double nests in stock for what i belive to be a decent price. Now I was thinking about making my own gathered end hammock. Only issue is i dont own a sewing machine. I was thinking about buying the material and haveing a sewing shop run the edges and chanels for me. I have found the rip stop for about 8 bucks a yard and i have a 40% off cupon for hancock fabric. What are your guys opinions on a diy gathered end hammock or a enos hammock. Im 6 foot 270 pounds. Money isnt the issue its more along the lines of comfort and all that jazz. http://www.gandermountain.com/modper...3&merchID=4006 Only other thing that has me leaning towards a double nest is that i have a 3 yr old boy that might go with me depending on the circumstances.

ENO's are definitely a comfortable hammock in my experience. I did mod my DN and cut off the excess side material because the floppiness really bothered me. I like it much better now as it fits me perfectly. The good thing about DIY is making it to your specs. I say go for the DIY and make a mini hammock for the little one while you're at it.
