The North Country Trail runs through Moraine State Park too that section is nice. I'm subscribing to this thread and hoping I'm free the weekend it happens!
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.
As for the date for the hang, I just sent for a Warbonnet Superfly and was told it could take 3-4 weeks to get it so I hope hang would be after that.
I'm still in no matter where everyone decides. All locations suggested are very nice and should serve well for a group hang.
Quebec Run is where we took our young scouts on their first backpacking experience. It's not a terribly big area. There's no car camping there. You need to backpack in a bit. So it's good for an overnight Sat or Sun. Or if you have far to drive. Hike in short distance on Friday and then hike longer on Saturday, out on Sunday.

Just a thought to get thing going. How about Qubec Run sometime in Aug. Keep in mind I am going by other posts that the area would be good for a hang. I would be willing to go out to check the area if anyone is interested we could meet for a day hike and check it out.
I would normally meet you but I broke my foot in two places last week and have another 3 to 5 week healing time before I can take off this walking boot. I asked the doctor for a hiking boot but he said "Sorry, I'm all out." Quebec Run is about 30 - 40 minutes from my door to the trail head.
