Hi! I am a new hammock hanger from Pennsylvania. I went out a few times last summer with just my hammock and sleeping bag (no underquilt or tarp)! Needless to say I was kinda cold and only went out when I knew it wasn't going to rain. I started researching a more comfortable and less weather reliant way to hammock and found this site. SO THANKS!
I still don't know what I am doing but I tested out my very basic system on a rainy overnighter the other day and it worked OK. I still have to fix it up though!
Well I am also HOPING to find some people to go hiking/hammocking with too!
