    The little black things on the tarp lines

    What are they for? I use a sliding type knot for tension and have no idea how to use the little black plastic things the line goes through.

    Do you mean the tensioner thingies?

    If yes, you just use the bottom loop closest to the tail end.

    AH! They come inline and not looped so I had no idea. I have been tying a sliding knot instead of using those. Thanks!

    This is how I use them. Not exactly as they were intended but work very well if you use a line with a little 'texture' to it like the Nite-Ize line.
    A lot of adjustability used this way.
