    Pulled the trigger...

and ordered whoopie slings. In June I will order my underquilt and tarp. At that point, my set up will be complete (I think):

Eno Doublenest with side stretch mod and adjustable ridgeline
    Whoopie slings
    AHE New River underquilt
    Eno Profly tarp

I guess the only thing I am missing is a legit top quilt. I'll probably keep using my various bags unzipped for now.

    Is it June yet?

congrats on you purchases and future one. may i suggest to hold off on the eno pro fly. there are other options for better larger taps from the cottage industries seen here on hf.

I agree with peanuts. There are much more gooder () tarps out there.

I've seen those posts and that seems to be the general consensus. I've looked at a lot of tarps and the Eno Profly still seems to be a good option for what I am looking for: basic coverage for rain, ease of set up, price.

I'll keep researching though. Its all I really can do while I wait.

For about $5 more you can get a Warbonnet edge tarp with more coverage and less than half the weight.

    Talking Tadpole

I would like to say Tadpole.,.,.,.,.,..
Love mine and I have been in downpours here in the Great Northwest and I have stayed very dry. It is very lite and has very good coverage...

Agreed.. Why buy a Casio when for $5 more you can have a Rolex?

Plus eno doesn't give you the option for adding door...

The ENO profly is very skimpy coverage. The slightest amount of blowing rain and you'll be wet. Better options are available in the same price range.

    Re: Pulled the trigger...

I used the ENO Profly for a long time... It is not wide enough to provide good coverage... Something like the edge, or similarly the tadpole has the width and is about 1/2 the weight... My Profly rigged out was 24 oz... My Superfly rigged up is 26 oz... So 1' longer 3 feet wider, plus doors... And 2 oz heavier...

Ok, ok... I will definitely give the Tadpole another look. When people talk about "loving" their tarp, that gets my attention! Thanks for the input!
