    Five Hour Energy Bottles

Anybody else using these? A buddy at my work drinks one every day so once I told him I'd take them rather than him throw them away my stash has gotten out of control. At first I was cutting them in half to make little measuring cups for fuel, which works great, but now I've realized they make perfect little 2 oz fuel bottles also. I first thought I'd prefer a clear bottle so I know what's left, but after more thought I realized that they only hold two boils worth of fuel anyway so you pretty much know what you have. Now one, with two ounces of fuel in it, lives in my cook kit permanently. I can grab it and head out for a day hike without thinking about fuel!

Sorry to make a thread, but I wanted to pass off the idea and didn't know where else to put it.

I used them until I got an alcohol flask...for my de-nat alcohol, of course.

I've thrown a couple measuring cups in PIFs, but I imagine I'll have to start putting several in each to keep up. I can't believe the guy drinks one a day, but I have proof!

I use them to carry sugar and salt when car camping.

Awesome idea using them for fuel though. I'll have to remember that.

Me and destikahr been using them as fuel bottles for about a year now. Just recently I swapped them out for some Oval shaped bottles that fit the contour of the pot better.
    You can see them below.

Now I have replaced them with these oval bottles that are in the bottom half of the picture below, nested inside the pot.
