    Topless Biolite adventures

A great weekend at Cat Lake, about ten minutes north of Squamish BC. We took big adventure bikes about twelve kms up logging roads and setup two hammocks in three trees. To enjoy an amazingly starry night we left the tarps packed. It got down to 5-6c but the peapods kept everything toasty.

If you dont have a Biolite stove, GO GET ONE. Mine was better than anything i have ever used. Cooked 9 meals and countless hot drinks without spending a dime. Grills perfectly well and boils large pots of water super fast. Kept all the phones and tablets charged. If there is any better stove/grill/charger in the world i have never heard of it.

That Biolite is a a very interesting system, no doubt.

Didn't happen to do any actually videos of using it did you?

Wish you'd do a full review!

Great you were able to get away! Could this be a prelude to a BC hang?

BTW Any sign of black bears poking their noses about?

    Cheers

    Topless Biolite adventures

The biolite stove and grill are simply amazing. The stove itself produces a tornado of flame that will boil 500mls of water in 4ish minutes. It burns wood about 15 cms long and as think as a quarter. The air injection system has to speeds low and volcano. The charging port on the stove works really well and as fast as your home plug in. The Biolite grill is a very nice thing the have because it turn the stove into a powerful BBQ. Works the same has any other BBQ but you get the semi smoked flavor. I added hickey wood from walmarts BBQ section and the smell and taste was unbelievable. The secret use for this thing is that if the power goes out at your home(BOB), this will warm and feed your family by burning wood that's laying around your home(like your table). Down sides are cost, weight, and size. It's the best and the best is not cheap, I did and would pay this all day(pbj for lunch all month). Weight is more than a used pop can. It's bigger than a cat food can.

Bc hang anytime anywhere but I've tried and failed three times to get one going.

Consider adding a powerpot to your setup. its heavy and limited to boiling water really but by all reports produces a ton of power
