    WBBB XLC owners....

what size tarp is working best with the new 11' hammock? I am getting ready to buy a tarp but wanted to get some good advise before I purchase. I am looking at the 12' HG standard cubin with doors.

I don't have the XLC but I do have an 11 foot Wilderness Logic Snipe. I got the Hammock Gear 10'10" Standard Cuben tarp with doors. It came in last week. I set up my tarp and hammock in the backyard. It rained for 3 days straight (over 9 inches) with wind gusts to 40 mph. I stayed in the hammock a lot and during some of the worst weather. Everything stayed nice and dry. I also set up my 10' Blackbird for part of the time and stayed in it some. It was fine also. Of course the 12' tarp would give you even more coverage. The 11 foot (10'10") worked for me. it's a great tarp.

I have an 11' BIAS WW hammock and use a Toxaway tarp from Arrowhead. 12' ridge, cat cut, 14 oz. Love it.
