Remember you will ideally hang your hammock at a 30º angle, so the length between your hammock ends should be around 9'. This should give you plenty room for tarp coverage.

Oh good point... I think I need to bring a measuring tape to get all my numbers right.

I have a cuben hex 8x11 with doors. I just came back from 4 day trip in GA with gusting winds and rain every night. The 1st night I started out with doors rolled up but they came down quickly when the wind changed directions and rain poured in from from foot end of the tarp. I was so glad I had doors! Stayed dry each night.

My Kelty Noah's 9 works as though it was made for my Skeeter Beater Pro. A side benefit was the location of the perimeter tie out loops to attach the no see um netting to.
