I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.
E-mail them. They should get back to you very quickly. I've had to do that several times. Their customer service is incredible.
They do not recommend it for the Safari. The Safari is significantly different in some dimensions Can't say it _won't_ work. But they do not recdommend it.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

So , I have a Safari Classic, and a SuperShelter, which is packed up fitted on my Explorer. So to save me changing it all around, has anyone had success with the Safari/SS combo ?
I also have a Winter Nest, which I assume will work on the Safari ?
Thanks.
From what I understand, the SS shouldn't fit the Safari. It is longer and wider than the Explorer, for which you can buy a SSII or XL, whatever the designation.
Now, IF you are handy, MAYBE you could alter the larger SS to make it sort of work with the Safari. I have the older Undercover that has ends that are sewn, so they have to slide over the suspension ropes. The newer version had toggles and loops that allowed one to attach the Supershelter on a hung hammock. Because of the mismatch in size, you likely would need to make that loop larger, find a way to open up the shelter itself to get it to wrap properly, etc. I doubt there is enough business to warrant Tom's expense in redesigning and manufacturing a Supershelter to fit the Safari. All speculation, of course.

Thats the kind of thing I was thinking. I have the toggle large SS, so you would think it could allow for the extra there pretty easily.
Then maybe 3 or 4 inch continuous loops from the SS up to the tieouts might allow for the extra size in the belly.
Was wondering if there was someone who had made it work. I think I saw a thread where Ironfish was using them together some time ago
