    Trail names

Is most folks trail name the same as their forum name? Just curious. There seems to be a lot of comradery at hangs/hikes and giving or receiving a trail name seems to be part of it.

I haven't received a trail name yet. So, for now it's my initials and lucky number.

Several of them are the same. Mine is a name I have been called for years. Online and off. Was a gaming name then a paintball team name and now it is here. Not sure I could get used to anything else tbh.

I remember my first group hang with the forum... I am introducing myself as my actual name which is also my forum name. Everyone else had creative trail/forum names. I found this hilarious for some reason.

That's where I'm at. This has been a forum and gaming name for me for years, but no trail name yet. (Although I bet Roche has thought up a few for me! )

Switch my forum name to my trail name last year, before that my forum name was rich5665.

I thought it was something earned/bestowed or labeled like "cookie, puddle jumper, fart blossom, or stinky". I've seen it at the fire house for the last 27 years. There are some real creative thinkers out there.

I guess my trail-name is my just my username for now. At least until I do something that earns me a different name.
I know my friend Brian's username is Destikahr but on the last MAHHA he earned the name DayGlow from rocking day-glow orange shirt and shoes and blinding everybody.
