Been reading the posts on this forum and watching the YouTube videos, I think I have caught the bug. Very impressed with how friendly folks are here, have to say it is the most well behaved of all the forums I frequent. Not sure if everyone's intention is to share their knowledge or their addiction but I guess I will give it a go.

Thanks for the warm welcomes. The "sponge coast" is kind of an inside thing for those who know about Tarpon Springs. Many people do not realize natural sponges are harvested from the ocean, or in our case the Gulf of Mexico. Tarpon Springs was known at one time as being the sponge capital of the world. My high school football team was known as the Fighting Spongers. When I was in the military I had to remove my high school ring because I got tired of explaining what a fighting sponger was. And yes that was probably too much information.
