Help with Tarp/Hammock setup during heavy rain

It's raining outside currently so I cant snap a pic, but I do have my hammock suspension running through the triangle created by the tarp.

It appears the triangle made is too small because my hammock suspension pushes into the corner of the triangle that is furthest from the tree.

This is normal. Don't worry about it. As long as the hammock line is not being pressed down by the tarp line, you are fine.
