Found this surfing around after eyeballing the JRB tarp tensioners.

The JRB version uses Thera-Band, which looks very strong indeed, but the surgical tubing probably does pretty well too - or does it? Anyone try using this stuff?

The Theraband stuff JRB uses will outlast regular surgical tubing 5 to 1, at least. Theraband stuff is what they use in physical therapy clinics.
