Great additions. The mimi line locks are great, they can be adjusted with one hand.

Interesting... Hadn't seem black line locks... All I had seen was glow in the dark and green... May have to pick some of those up for stealthier applications

    Paul, is the line spliceable?
And do the mini line lics work with the 1.18?

With a line that small, you are going to need some serious magnification, the hands of a surgeon and an impossibly small splicing tool. Not to mention the patience needed for such a task.

The lines and cords that are popping up are getting smaller all the time.

    Cheers

IIRC the mini line locks are good for 1mm to 3mm line.

Yes the 1.18mm works great with the mini line locs, I have been using them together for a few months on a few of our tarps. The 1.18mm also hold knots well, prussic works with 6-8 wraps, and it may be spliceable. You can get the braids to open but it is so darn small I don't know how you'd work with it...

Ease of splicing is more a factor of the tightness of the braid than diameter. There are small splicing tools available.
