Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.

    Where are the pads going?

Are you sleeping directly on these? You should be. If you put them in the UC over the OCF pad things will get hosed up.

OTOH, my stock cold-weather configuration is an Exped Multimat beneath the OCF pad, with down jackets, etc. between the OCF and the Exped making a "down sandwich" with the 2 mats as "bread". The reason the Multimat works so well in this configuration is that it is nearly 40" wide, very light and windproof.

So you are going to use TR pads INSIDE the hammock AND the HHSS OCF pad underneath? Are you using a space blanket on top of the HH pad? You may not need it if you are on top of a full length pad ( which will serve as a VB), but I think I would use one anyway.

Plan to have the undercover pad on top of the undercover, but the prolite and ridgerest inside the hammock with me. I'll sleep directly on top of those.

I guess those 2 pads will get the job done serving as a VB to keep moisture off of the HH OCF pad. Especially if one of the pads is pretty wide. But a Heatsheet/space blanket covers the pad 100%.
