My wife and I finally moved out to Casper, Wyoming. I anticipate many nights hanging in these piney woods:
But it looks like I might have to get a... uh... t-word for this terrain
Anybody nearby?

Congrats! I love Wyoming. My personal favorite is Sheridan and the Big Horns. My father has some land in Glendo though... Good luck out there!

Getting lost is not a waste of time.
Saw this on CGOAB. This is how I remember my outdoor experiences in BWW. And the prairie dogs chewing through anything not metal clad to get to food inside.
I have a friend who pastors Boyd Avenue Baptist Church in Casper. Quin would love to have you visit if you are are interested. http://www.boydavenuebaptist.org/
I will be there in mid June to help work on the youth camp that is located on top of Casper Mountain, and this will be our second time to visit Casper. I love the area and would love to move there later in life.

I have cousins in Cheyenne who have a cabin in the Snowy Range...I could hate all of you...

"But hey, 2 trees anywhere is a bedroom waiting to happen, right?"
I was talking to a guy at REI about hanging around rocks when no trees around.
I picked up a couple of these:

Thanks everybody! It is pretty windy, but I suppose I'll get used to it. Dos, I'll look into rock hanging for sure. And thanks NCfree, we are looking for a church so we'll check it out. I'm actually in Denver for a couple weeks before heading back to Casper, any recommendations for day hikes or overnighters?
